10 Ways to Find My Sacred Moments

Can I pray for you?

Recognizing Sacred Moments of Your Life

  • Driving to work, the sun is coming up and you’re overcome with gratitude and awe…
  • In the midst of chaos and turmoil, peace settles over your soul…
  • While wondering if this is all there is to life, a small still voice whispers, “Be still and know…”

These sacred moments begin to pop up more as you enter into silence and solititude, become more fully present,  hear God’s voice and notice God’s fingerprints in your life. Spiritual direction helps you notice more of God’s activity in your life and be more fully present each day.

What is Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual direction is the opportunity to come together with a spiritual director or companion, one on one, for gentle non-judgmental guidance as you seek greater meaning and purpose in your life.  You have time and space to reflect upon your spiritual journey and growth.  You may want to:

  • strengthen your faith
  • renew your prayer life
  • find greater direction in your life
  • discover being more fully present

Whatever it is that you are seeking in a closer relationship with God, we can explore together.  As you seek God, you discover more about yourself.  That hurried, worried and disconnected life begins to feel peaceful, calm and like a real rest for your mind, body and soul.

Nancy loves seeing God's fingerprints everywhere she goes. She has found hope and freedom from depression and anxiety as she has grown closer to God. She loves creating safe spaces for women to connect with God and hear His voice.  She sees them connecting more with God and finding out more about their own hearts and how to better connect with others.  She believes practicing silence and solitude to play a big part in hearing God and bringing rest to her mind, body and soul.

She is a Certified Spiritual Director from the Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction and enjoys serving her local church in their prayer and care ministry.

One of her favorite roles currently is serving as Grandma to four precious grandchildren under six.  She loves how they show her how to be fully present and experience joy in the moment.
